About

抱朴 (bàopǔ) — to hold what is unadorned, the plain wood before it is carved. The name is a small instruction more than a brand: keep the tea, and the room around it, as close to its original character as possible.

Baoputang is family-run. Tea is sourced, aged, and served on terms set by season and origin rather than by trend. The shop's seal — carved by hand and stamped on every tin — is the brand's oldest and most honest mark; everything visual here is built to stay out of its way.
