A Tea Named After Foreign Merchants Who Adored It
This Oriental Beauty comes from one named garden in Hsinchu, Taiwan, made by one named tea master, Xu Yaoliang, from the 青心大冇 cultivar — picked specifically at 小满, "Grain Full," one of the year's 24 solar terms, in early summer 2024. It's graded four stars, packed in a sealed, food-grade tin, 65 grams.
The tasting profile here is laid out almost like a map across the infusion: thick, assertive nutty-cocoa notes up front, a fuller, more layered middle, and a finish that turns fruity, with a citrus undertone running underneath.
